Andrew Mercer (Owner)
Andrew has over 20 years experience of keeping animals, starting from the early age of 8 years old, when he could be
found collecting frogs and toads from local ponds! Since then he has hung up his trusty bucket and net, and his hobby
and passion has evolved into Leaping Lizards, one of Yorkshires most popular reptile shops.
Andrew works most days at Leaping Lizards and if he is not seen handling snakes or helping customers, he can usually
be found on his beloved internet looking up new information and the best deals on products for customers of Leaping Lizards.
Anyone that knows Andrew will also know he doesn't make a bad cuppa and always has time for a chat and offer advice for
your reptiles well being.
India Noo Faulkner-Mercer (Age 5 Months)
The newest and smallest addition to the team but with no doubt the most important! India can sometimes be seen with a
bottle of milk and a big smile!
Lee Travis (Shop Assistant)
Lee has completed a National Diploma at Askham Bryan College and is currently studying for a degree in Animal Care. Lee
has an encyclopeadic knowledge of herpotology and reptile latin names so if you want to know what its called in Latin, Lee's
your man! He can be seen on a weekend, helping customers, cleaning vivariums and feeding the animals.
